Looking for a pediatric dentist in Monsey/Suffern. Insurance allows out of network, so if they don't accept insurance that's okay.

Kid is really difficult when it comes to dentistry Sad Any recommendations?

I took my youngest (under 3) DC to smile builders. They didn't accept my insurance. My DC had deep cavities. They took care of it without laughing gas or any tear (well tears of laughter doesn't count).

I haven't been there in years. When my dc's teeth were good for a while so I switched to an insurance dentist.

Had an awful experience w him... He got mad at my son (5 yr old) for for jumping out of his skin when he started drilling.. Instead of waiting for anesthesia to kick in more...

Kindersmiles does get upset when kids squirm around but I use him because he's so quick and his work is great. I've tried a few dentists till I settled with him. I made it clear that he cant yell at my child.

uch
brings back memories
dentists should never yell at or force kids
if a child is so anxious there are options
not trauma not to further traumatize cvs

good luck

Last year we used Dr Simchi and he was absolutely amazing. But he doesn't work in monsey anymore I'm so disappointed. He worked by smile builders on Mariner Way, their office is very kid friendly!

After reading what others wrote I will add dr lampert would NEVER get annoyed or yell at a kid. And my kids are difficult. Heck even im difficult. Hes soft spoken and kind, tries to disract you, offers movies and headphones etc has tona of prizes and is overall gentle and very skilled. Halevai I wouldve had him when I was a child

Maybe it’s worth it to travel to his office. It’s probably only 30 mins from Monsey and he’s amazing!

I know him personally. He has a happy go luck type of personality. While I don’t live in Monsey any longer and I won’t be using him as a dentist, I could see him being patiently doing dental work.
