My 1 year old baby was feeling perfectly fine (no fever happy) when she suddenly started having episodes of crying with grunting and what looked like struggling to breathe. She had 3 of these episodes and then suddenly closed her eyes and went all floppy and closed her eyes shock

I shouted and she opened her eyes and continued crying. We called for an ambulance, they blue lighted her to the hospital and she then had some more episodes at the hospital. They saw clearly that something is going on but could not find a problem. She had bloods checked, urine and chest x-ray but all was clear. We were kept in overnight under observation but were then discharged
Since a baby she has been having trouble with stomach pain, constipation (not now) and I have even thought a few times that she might have swallowed something. Could there be something that might be bothering her?
Has anyone had such experiences with an allergy, she is a very sensitive child but no know allergies (we only use specific washing powder, as a baby she couldn't tolerate shampoo so we got some from the doc, first 3 times eating banana she had a rash all over her body)
If anyone has had such experiences I would love to hear.

Have you seen a neurologist? You could be describing a type of seizure.

It only happened a couple of days ago (I wish I would have filmed them) she was having them while she was in hospital and the doctors kept on looking at her and checking her stats, during her episodes her oxygen was fluctuating but not very low (between 90-95) and when she was fine her pulse was around 140 and when she had these episodes her pulse shot up to 200-220. What would that indicate? Pain? It definitely looked like she was throwing herself in pain.... she never passed out at the hospital....

They only checked for infections and I told them clearly that I have been concerned previously and then on the discharge letter they wrote, diagnosis- Virus. Honestly, better write unexplained.
I have told my husband a few times when she is in pain that it sounds like something is blocked but then it disappears. she is now home and back to normal.

Just lett them take and xray from the area of her kidneys. They miss it out and sometimes its the cause of terrible pain. Gd luck

This. The intestines can twist and child can black out from pain and then it can adjust so nothing comes up. But then the intussusception can happen and twist up again.

OP, what does your pediatrician say to all of this? When my kids had to be hospitalized he was involved in telling them what tests he wanted them to run and they were in touch with him throughout with results of all tests. If he wasn't satisfied he requested additional specific tests. Your baby's pediatrician should he advising you as to what type of specialist to see etc.

I live in the UK where everything is under the NHS. We are lucky because its all free but unlucky as its very basic. We don't have an option to see any other professionals and would need to get a referral to see anyone besides the GP.
I am keeping an eye on him and even just one day of slight pain, I will be seeing a private consultant. That is my only option.
Just wondering, anyone out there has had such experience with an allergy?

That could be a heart arrhythmia. This could be in even small babies.

OP, I showed your post to DH (hope you don't mind, he's a pediatrician). He said it sounds like an intersusception. They can spontaneously resolve, or can reoccur.

I agree on ruling out intussusception. I would also have a cardiologist see her to rule out supraventricular tachycardia, which is not uncommon in babies. It does not sound like an allergic reaction.

Thank you everyone for your replies.
She woke up at night and when I came into her room her breathing sounded pretty fast, I checked her temperature and she had a fever of 38 c (100.4 f) which is not very high (with that fast breathing I would have thought its higher) I was prettyy worried and thought that I will take her in the morning to a doc but now in the morning there is no fever and she ate some breakfast and was ok.
Can this be related to what happened? maybe AMother Scarlett if you can ask your husband.

I googled it and it does fit for what happened. Is there more chance of it reoccurring that she has possibly had it?

Asked dh, he said he wouldn't normally expect a fever. Also a reminder, he hasn't examined dd, so not medical advice. Maybe make an appointment with your gp/ pediatrician for follow up advice.
