Does anyone know of a program that can cut a video at the beginning or end so it is small enough to send in an email?

Depends on the format of the video. What are the 3 letters after the dot in the name?

And the program should also preferably be that I could keep the original video at the length it is, but cut it for sending purposes.

I use camtasia to edit my videos. It has different saving options.

I just post my videos on youtube so my family can watch them from there.

You could also just use Pando or Senditnow to send a large file via email.

I use Windows Movie Maker.. very easy to use.

Then I upload it to photobucket and send family the URL so it doesn't clog up their inbox.

Download the programs, work with them both and keep whichever is easier.

I know WMM is free.

Is there any way you could do it without downloading a program (like how you upload pics here through photobucket? I prefer not to do it on youtube bc I dont want it available for the whole world.

there's also yideoz.com which is geared to the Jewish community.

And I'm fairly certain you can make albums password protected... just send the password along with the URL email.

Thing is, if you use a password protected site, you can't post to the forum.

I just did pando but only found out after I sent the file that the recipient needs the program too, which wont work for me. Will try what you said, Kmelion.

yideoz.com is a hosting site, like youtube is, but it's aimed at the Jewish community.
