Thanks for that thread about deals. I am specifically looking for cute items for a range of kids, preferably under $5 but will spend a bit more on some items, so I guess $5-10 range. I think this will be helpful for many doting aunts and grandmothers and deserves its own thread.

Toys for you had their brochure divided by price. There was a bit of a selection for this in the $5 price range

Not clear what you're looking for because to me "grab bag" means little prizes and not actually gifts... For prizes you can get packages of 20 or so on Amazon for average $1 per prize. Also brick and mortar stores in Brooklyn that cater to teachers often have great grab bag quality items for the best prices.

For cheap under $5 items you do much better locally. Amazing savings, toys for u, dollar tree. Online I do aliexpress. They have imitation lego sets or individual pieces.

The local jewish toy stores have a lot of good deals for that price. We do a grab bag as well and I got 8 great items for $5-$7 each!

I personally am really more interested in on-line ideas, as running around to stores doesn't work so well for me.

I find good deals on inexpensive items are much harder to find online bec they either get you on the shipping or it’s not worth it for them to offer free shipping on a $5 item so they aren’t as available online.

Walgreens has buy 2 get 2 free on select toys this week, but it's only in store. I usually try to stock up on these kind of items when target has their post holiday clearance sales. Especially on dollar spot items. Last year after x-mas and Easter I got a ton of stuff (not holiday themed) that I put away as little prizes for my kids. Mini coloring books, lip glosses, flavored chap stick, little wooden toy trucks, cute stationary set (pencil case with stickers, pad of paper, pencils...), play dough, puzzles, chalk in different shapes, and more. Most items were 30 cents to a dollar. Some we're even as low as 10 cents!
If you want bigger items you can shop their regular toy clearance. Noone has to know you got an item 50% off.
