Anyone have either and can tell me pros or cons? I have a galaxy s5 now and am OK with it but it's very slow since it's so old......

I have the note 9 and LOVE it, but I can't really fairly compare it to an iPhone because I can't stand iPhones. (I think if you're used to a Samsung/android it's usually pretty hard to switch brands and vis versa.)

I don't have either but I researched these phones recently and I would suggest the Iphone X if the price difference doesn't matter.
The software and the camera on the iPhone can't compare to the Galaxy (I usually recommend android over ios but the galaxy has so much bloat that it ruins the android experience)

They're both excellent, top-of-the-line phones. To me it would boil down to whether you want to stay with Android (I would) or switch to Apple.
