I love to sing, especially with other girls/women. I don't have an opportunity to do that nowadays. My life is really hectic, and I don't have extra time in my schedule. However, I know it would give me an emotional and spiritual boost.

Any ideas of a way to get some women together and just have a kumzitz once in a while, maybe with a dvar Torah, as well? I'm thinking 1-2 times a month. Or is there anything out there that I can attend? I'm located in Flatbush.

Decide on a time and day and place, and announce it. Voila!
People will either show up, or not. Won't know til you try.

Maybe make a seudas shlishis for women? Or a motorist shabbos melava malka, since shabbos is over so early

I'm wondering if there would be a way to organise an international virtual women's vocal group via What'sApp or Skype or something?

I wish. I am not in a position to host anything at this point. Anyway, who would come to some random woman's get-together?

I hosted an event like this a few weeks ago. Women from my shul came and also my wonderful DDIL and machateiniste. We did it as a Melave Malka. I gave a short d'var Torah, many people brought food, and then we sang — I accompanied the singers on piano (I play extremely well by ear). 16 or 17 women came. I'm in Baltimore.

Also, you could help organize it in someone else’s home.

No, not yet. Some behavioral issues there. But too old to listen to women singing

I also love singing in a group, and it sounds like such a nice idea. (But I may be too shy to join Confused )
