Hi- my teen daughter would like to get an entry level excellent camera to develop photography as a hobby. Ha Nd h recommended canon t7i ( newer version of the t6i ). Does that sound reasonable? And does anyone know of someone to give group or individual classes for entry level photography for a teen in the N.Y./ nj area?

It's an excellent camera, although not cheap and probably more than you need to spend for somebody starting out in photography as a hobby, especially a teen. I've seen ads for a frum woman in Brooklyn named Devorie Zutler who teaches photography workshops for all different ages and levels.
