Was asked to make it for our chanukah party. Want to make a full 9x13. Anyone have exact recipe, what's the best sauce and kind of cheese?

I make a delicious one from the Dairy Gourmet cookbook. Do you happen to have it? If not I’ll type it up. It’s quite good.

I wouldn’t use the ricotta. I just boil a 1-lb box of ziti, drain, pour half a jar marinara on bottom of 9x13, then half of ziti, mix well, add a layer of mozzarella or Muenster cheese, then more ziti, more sauce and top with cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is bubbly and melted.

In betweencarpools.com they have 2 different zitis. Both are delicious. I use Geffen marinara. The frescotti marinara has small pieces of carrots that my kids don’t like.

Put American cheese slices on top, shmear ketchup and bake again until nice and toasty
