I have a babysitter who is in my house around 40 hours a week watching DD and cleaning the house. I'd like to give her a chanukah gift to show that we appreciate her efforts. Is there an accepted norm for this type of gift? I am thinking of giving her $100 plus a token gift. Does that sound okay? Any advice or gift suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I gave my nanny/housekeeper half a weeks pay last year. Friends of mine said to give a weeks pay, I can’t afford that. My nanny was very happy with the extra half a week’s cash.
