Can I bake meat and apple pie in the oven at the same time or they'll each absorb the flavor of the other one? apple pie wouldn't be covered, meat is.

AYLR. Many hold you would then not be able to serve the pie with dairy (I.e. coffee with milk)

In Cornwall they bake the meat and apples into the same pastry, the fruit is at one end so you can eat that last for dessert.
