My son’s name is also Brachya. I know quite a few boys with the name. It’s a beautiful name although uncommon. I did not give my son an English name at all!
Wow... the English names you chose are really not used anymore. They were popular 75 years ago if not more. You will really only find old timers with those English names.
That's very common in Chassidish circles. The English name is more for a formality to serve a purpose and is usually the same as the grandparent who the child is named after.
