Every year, on a night we don't have a party I make a really nice Chanukah supper for us at home. This year, I am BH newly pregnant and need some very simple, but still nice ideas...

Pastrami pizz is easy and good. You buy those rectangle ready crusts and top it and bake...

Lasagna-assemble In pan, add few cups of water. Serve with salad.
Fleishigs-baked burgers with lettuce, onions, tomatoes. Garlic green beans and baked potatoes on side.
Broiled or pan seared rib steaks is also nice.

Can you broil steaks, bake frozen fries at 450 degrees and roast broccoli at same temp?

This is a really nice supper. I make it in the crockpot - slice onions, put meat on top and pour a bottle of BBQ sauce on top. Cook on low for 20 hours.
You can also serve the pulled beef over latkes to make it Chanukah-themed.
Otherwise serve over mashed potatoes.

Minute steak, cook on 225 for 3 hours. Can do sweet sauce with brown sugar and ketchup etc or savory with onions, some cooking wine and spices. Frozen chopped onions are a great shortcut!
