Hi,
Which formula are babies happier with? Materna or Similac? Additionally, which one provides better nutrients to the baby?
And is there a better formula than these two?
Thanks!

From what I've read, formula is very tightly controlled in the USA and they are all basically the same.

In Israel: I don't think there is that much difference, if any at all. The only I could think of is price.
We started with Materna with my DS, and it worked great for us, so we continued with it all the way through. I've never tried Similac.

I work with babies, in Israel.
For a regular baby with normal problems, they are both the same.
For a more sensitive baby- Similac is easier on the stomach.
Do NOT use the ready-made Similac bottles.
You can ask the doctor about different medical formulas, if needed.
If your twins are preemies- I would recommend the Materna extra care sensitive, if they sell it in the US.

Why not ready made?

80% of the babies I have given it to spit it all up. Every time. I don't know why.

My baby has only had a bottle 4 times and I used ready made - it was cheaper then opening a can that expires (it was for Yom Kippur and during a long car ride). He seemed fine with it so I was nervous it was a safety issue because I have some left in the house for emergencies.
