Does anyone know the kashrus status of either Hipp or Holle infant formula? I tried looking online, but couldn’t find any info. Thanks!

It will depend on the country and whom you trust.

I checked Austria, Germany and Switzerland:

http://ord.feldmann-web-und-me.....tby=2
http://www.irgz.ch/downloads/k.....l.pdf

Hipp stuff is listed as kosher in Germany and Austria, but not Switzerland. The German list doesn't have Hipp formula, the Austrian has (page 83). Holle is not on any of the the lists. The Austrian list has Aptamil and Milumil as kosher, the other two don't.

So which countries are interesting for you?

Milumel is kosher in France but has been recalled. I think it's now sold under the name Célia

I'm also looking into this formula. im in canada and am able to purchase Hipp made in UK and Germany. Is there a difference in kashrut if it's made in either country?
also I spoke to hipp UK and they said they may use Rennet that may come from cows if they can't source vegetarian rennet. Based on the UK site it is kosher for passover but doesn't say which country the formula is made from. Anyone else address this?

Unfortunately based on how I understand the system, yes,mit makes a difference where the formula is produced. You cannot assume it is kosher in one location if it is kosher in another. You probably need to speak to someone in Canada with reference to the specific products you can buy there.
