The procedure was done already.

Just curious: Why does your DH require a 2nd circumcision?
If the mitzvah of having the bris occured already, why does it matter if the orla regenerated? Isn't the bris itself the mitzvah and not not-having-a-foreskin?

The skin grew back & was told by mohel needs to be redone asap!
I asked no questions...

Um, okay. If someone said I or my DH needed surgery, I know I'd ask questions.
I am just curious about the reason behind his recommendation.

Hi OP,
I'm actually amazed by you and your DH. My DH was 'born" with a bris. They did cut something, I assume. Afew years ago DH had a rash in his pen*s due to my yeast infection. The nurse that checked him asked him if he had a bris. She said it doesn't look like it. (I actually checked out pictures, it has more skin than it should, but definitely doesn't look uncircumcised)
DH freaked out and refuses to talk to anyone about it. (A Dr once told him he can do elective surgery to fix something, DH fainted in the office) Sometimes I wonder if talking to a mohel and redoing the bris would bring much needed brocha into our life
May hashem bless you and your family with lots of brocha.

The mohel was the second opinion. I always go for a second opinion before doing anything invasive.
