Haveing just learned that wassabi is technically Japanese horseradish.. does anyone know if you could use it as marror
For Seder... Especially, since I've seen reactions of ppl trying it for the first time is similar to marror.

Maror is supposed to be bitter, not fiery,so I never understood why horseradish is permitted. Considering that there are minimum required quantities to consume to be yotze, I wouldn’t be surprised if eating enough wasabi to be Yotze could land a person in the hospital.
Horseradish is hot but wasabi is in a different league. Like comparing a birthday candle to a torch.
