Hi
Tonight is Zos Chanukah.
I want to daven for a big yeshua.
How do I do this?
How do you daven?

I am not fluent in reading hebrew and so it takes me a long time to read anything in hebrew, but then I read and do not understand unless I read the English translation.
I know some certain tehillim well in hebrew so I stick to those ones I know.

I know I can daven to Hashem for anything, but how do I do this?

Do I say in English 'Dear Hashem, please .......' then say tehillim? Or vice versa?

How do you daven for something specific?

I love saying Perek Shira, I can say it all in hebrew and know the translation, but how do I channel saying it for something specific?

Or do you think Hashem knows what we are davening for without saying it?

How do you daven please??

THANK YOU

And may everyones tefillos be answered letova!!

Hashem understands every language. Daven from your heart. I also like the aneni. It's full of tfillos for every occasion and has English translation.
May your tfillos be answered bekorof in the best possible way

Amen!
Thank you for taking the time to reply.

How do you actually daven tho?
What does it mean to daven from the heart in real terms?
Do you ask for specific things?
How do you go about this?

Thank you

I actually just bought myself an Aneini last week!

Sometimes I say a kapital of thilim first, then I talk to hashem. I sing tfillos that touch my heart (I love halal and I sing it from thilim).
But really it's always different and also depends on what mood I am and what I'm davening for. Just start however you want and let your emotions decide (that what works for me)
