There are too many ads in the Community Connections. The View has just the right amount, so I have patience to read through it.

Funny you mention, because my kids love the "crazy criminals" page and the jokes in the Front Page.

I like the View. On the other hand, whenever I'm looking for a specific product or service it's usually in the Connections.

I only look at the View for recipes. Otherwise it doesn't interest me much.
I prefer the Connections when I'm specifically looking for advertisements and classifieds.

The Monsey View has great reading material. Most people I know pick it up for that reason. Of course, for the ads too.

View or connections. Front page is great but not out there enough. If I am looking to advertise I first got to connections and then view. Also depends on crowd you want to Target.

depends what you are advertising. connections comes to your home. whereas the view has to be picked up in stores. I never pick up circulars. if its on thecouch, I may skim through it. if I need to hire, ive had best results with Luach.com.

Interesting that the poll results are incongruent with the comments. Comments seem to suggest Connections whereas poll has Monsey View leading by far.

I really enjoy the layout and graphics in the View. The content is pretty good too. Every once in a while, I come across an article that is truly timely and helpful, or inspiring.

The View seems to be more popular, but I think people are commenting that the Connections is more useful at times, even if they may read the View more. At least, that's my take.
