Making aliyah in a few months.
I have no idea how to find a suitable kollel to being applying to (if that is necessary to hit the ground running upon arrival)... so far he goes to shiurim but does most studying at home on his own. He feels ready to go learn at kollel now BH but where as that will determine where to move I imagine. How can he find/apply?

You posted this in the aliyah section. Does that mean you are planning on going to israel for this kollel or that you are already in israel looking for one?

Where did he study for conversion? The rabbi involved will probably be most likely to know where your husband should (or should not) go from here.

Has he learned Gemara in depth with a chavrusa?
Is he familiar with the Shulchan Aruch and how to derive halacha?
Dh is a BT when we got married he was learning in Ohr Somayach which gave him the background to be successful in any Yeshiva/kollel. He is now learning in a small chaburah in the Mir (mikvaos). It may be a good start for your DH if his background is lacking. There are men there who grew up frum but want a better foundation for their Torah and Yiddishkeit.

What does he want to study, and how would you describe yourselves hashkafically? Where will you be living? That would help narrow things down. BH, the is no dearth of kollels here. I'm sure he'll find one good for him.
