I just got a free Alexa Dot from a company I signed up with.
My 5 kids ages 12-4 are so excited to talk to this machine and it responds.
I am very happy to let them use it like a stereo to connect to my spotify account.
But I am horrified but what they can do once it connects to the internet.
I can not control what jokes it is telling them.
Then I found out that you can even play games, and my kids sit there all night talking back and forth with narrish.
Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off all the other stuff and only allow music?
I can't seem to find anything in google.
Otherwise, I am giving it away .

It works because it's connected to the internet. Without the internet it's simply a black box.
You can use it as a bluetooth speaker.

But then I'm assuming skip, next song won't work, like it doesn't work on a regular bluetooth.

I'll take it if you don't want it.
You can keep it in your room, or a main room of the house. Unplug it when you don't want the kids on it.
