Don't forget to factor in the cost of therapy that kid might need down the line

Or maybe she is factoring just that, and decided if she doesn’t get away she won’t be able to deal with her children properly and they’ll need lots of therapy for that!!
And next time when you have such great advice don’t hide behind amother!!!!

I paid $100 a night.
I sent my baby to a close relative that does overnight babysitting so it was a win-win.

Thanks. I appreciate all of you who actually answered the question.
Btw, to all you judgy mothers out there who are making assumptions based on a simple question asked, the child in question will not need therapy after this. A friend who's child knows me very well asked if I'd be able to babysit when she goes away, because she doesnt want to send her toddler to someone he doesnt know really well. She wants to pay the going price for overnight babysitting and asked me if I can find out what that is.

love that! Some people just cannot think out of their pub box! I just had a similar comment from someone that doesn't understand why I need a break to hotel for one night with my husband (without asking her for help). And btw I have 5 kids oldest is 5.5..

Exactly....my baby was plenty by babysitter...when we needed to be with other child in hosp.....bh she's the easiest kid when she goes away....loves company & going out. Has zero issue when I have to leave her by someone.....

What about all the working moms that leave kids in others' care all the time? That's plenty on this site!

I hope you were sarcastic about the therapy! Kids that are so attached to mom that they can never go anywhere are sometimes worse off...the kid...+ tough luck on parent too!
