Put 2 dryer sheets in there for a day or 2...
And rub down the sides with them...

Same as getting rid of any other stench: a dish of vinegar, or sprinkle baking soda and / or charcoal to absorb and neutralize the offending gases first, then spray with Febreze, Lysol spray or a light fragrance such as a few drops of essential oil dissolved in a mixture of alcohol and water. Or, if you are in the right part of the world, leave the drawer outside to air and to be exposed to the hot sun for a day or two. If the smell is really strong it will take longer but will eventually fade.
We had a bin that a cat had adopted..and sprayed..as its territory. Phew! It took months and several boxes of baking soda plus Lysol (not together) but the stench ultimately vanished.
