I tried it twice and it was so bitter tasting.
Can someone tell me what I did wrong?
Can you share a delicious recipe?

Roast them at high heat so they start to caramelize. Use fresh garlic and generous salt to season.
What brand of frozen are you using?

Not sure I think I was using bodek or golden flow.
Any specific brand you recommend?

By roast you mean in the oven or pot?

Thank you so much!

Were they fully cooked? I cook them at a high temp tossed with a bit of grape seed oil, kosher salt, and fresh pepper. And they're delicious I wish they weren't so expensive!

I was just checking to make sure it wasn't Pardes because their broccoli is so overcooked before they even package it that it ends up brown and mushy when you try to prepare it. Smile
I believe I've used Bodek brussels sprouts. Roast the still frozen brussels sprouts on a flat cookie sheet uncovered at 450 for 35 min, shaking pan halfway through.

My all-time favorite way to eat frozen brussels sprouts is to defrost and halve them, mix a lot of (real) maple syrup and a decent amount of hot sauce and pour a very generous amount over the sprouts, then bake and/or broil them (you need to be very attentive if you broil them so that they don't burn, keep checking them and stirring frequently) till they're caramelized. Delicious!

I take the bag of frozen brussels sprouts out of the freezer for a few hours, then slice and lay flat on sheet pan. Salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil. Roast at 425 F til they start to caramelize. My kids love this!

Be careful everyone-mashgiach told me it’s almost impossible to get the bugs out of Brussels sprouts. He told me not to eat them at all

I just posted on the other thread about brussel sprouts. Then I came here and I saw that someone didnt like the company I recommended. I actually find that pardes' brussel sprouts are delicious and never bitter. Theyre so sweet. Always ask your LOR but my husband is involved with kashrus in bugs and he says that pardes farms is the best. So exciting to see 2 threads about my fav veggie!
