Can I give a third option? A graco carriage that works as a snap n go and as a functional car carriage after. It has the same weight and fold
That was my favorite combination (never owned a doona - is it heavy to carry up and down steps?)

I had car seat and snap n go for first 5 kids. just got a doona for my 6th - I love it!
I am an in and out of car type of person and the fact I don't have to go to my trunk and take out a snap n go is amazing for me.
yes its annoying that it doesn't fit in a shopping cart nor does it have a basket. however - mine came with a baby bag that clips onto front and I keep whatever I need in there. shopping my husband usually does or I go with one of my kids anyway who can be in charge of pushing the stroller.
and I didn't pay $500 for mine....got a floor sample 2018 model for $349- some stores might have this now that the 2019 models are in
