Off topic but it was mentioned not to give bamba because of a risk of peanut allergy. New evidence shows giving peanuts at a early age actually decreases the risk of a peanut allergy. I was told by my baby's allergist to introduce peanut butter at six months. You have to water it down as it's a chocking hazard. I give my 7 month old Apple sauce with peanut butter mixed in as well as baby cereals. Peanut butter is a great protein source.
The percentages of Israelis with peanut allergies is way lower than Americans. Bcz. Israeli babies have bamba from the time they can sit up (and I'm not exaggerating!)
