Not much in Teaneck itself. If you like ice skating, you can try out the Ice House in Hackensack right nearby. If the weather is good, Van Saun Park in Paramus is lovely for young children. There's a zoo and a train (though maybe that only run in summer.)

And yes, there's tons of kosher food.

Teaneck is a suburb of NY so basically a bedroom community. There’s much more to do in Manhattan. You can probably take a bus to midtown, or a bus across the bridge to Washington Heights and the subway to midtown. There’s NYC Fire Zone that teaches fire safety but your dc is probably a bit too young. Children’s Museum of Manhattan on the West Side is pricey IIRC but made for children.

Catch air in Paramus is great for a 2 year old! And yes lots of food options. The mall is always fun there’s a play area, ice cream. Enjoy

What a shame! I was so excited to tell you about an amazing place in Teaneck called World of Wings that's perfect for that age, only to check and see that it's no longer open.

There are a lot of other play places in the area: lily and liam, catch air, a great story, jumpin jax. And there are malls in nearby Paramus which all have a play area.

I don't know about the child but if it's just the two of you there's snow tubing at campgaw mountain and sojo spa club all within 20 minute drive from Teaneck.

Just to make sure you’re aware, clothing stores and most other retail in Bergen county (county Teaneck and Paramus are in) are not open on sundays, in case you’re planning a Sunday visit.

There's a shoprite on route 4 at forest (right next to bergen mall) that has a decent kosher section. Is that what you're looking for?
