What do you recommend?
My teen does graphic and video design in school (for classes), and sometimes needs access to videos for class (for example, find some videos that give you ideas of how build this tower.) I'm having trouble finding a filter that does any kind of real filtering of images or videos other than using restricted mode on YouTube. Its either that they're allowed or not. It's also important to us that my teen be able to make a request to us for unblocking something, and we can check it out and unblock it remotely if warranted.
Any ideas? Can you tell me what filter you use, and what you like and don't like?

What do you like about it?
I asked them if I can unblock one page from a blocked site, or one YouTube video when YouTube is off, and they said no.
Do you find them effective in restricting problematic content while still allowing the user not to feel too stifled?

I use NetSpark and it’s really good. They have different levels of protection and you can set different websites or categories on different levels.
