We bought by mistake coriander spice instead of something else.
What could I use this spice in cooking?

Delicious combined with cumin and turmeric for spice mix (with fresh garlic).

Mexican food (mix into salsa, or sprinkle on tacos)
Any kind of Indian food
Most kinds of Thai food
Moroccan food
Baked into flatbread

I go through at least one bunch a week. It's my favorite fresh herb. If I could have only one plant in my garden, it would be coriander/cilantro.

Coriander (seed) and cilantro (leaves) are from the same plant, but they taste very different. It seems that the OP has coriander.

Ah, my mistake. I do use the leaves in almost everything. I only use the seed in Indian food.

In some countries, coriander and cilantro are the same thing, like eggplant is aubergine, and zucchini is courgette.

If I can taste cilantro in something I am eating, not only will I stop eating it, I will completely stop eating.

I've discussed this before. A genetic marker has been identified as the "Cilantro Gene". The marker is what makes you either love or hate the taste. Why? Who knows. It's not like there's an evolutionary advantage or anything.

Or... maybe cilantro lovers are more advanced and intelligent. Tongue Out

Yup. And somehow coriander seeds aren't affected by this marker. Wink
