generally speaking I would do it after discussion with pediatrician

travel and airports and airplanes expose to lots of germs from lots of places, not only your destination city

first dose which generally can be given at 6 months and older provide about 93% immunity after a week from receiving the immunization -- so find out with enough time to provide full benefit.
