I see companies advertising for workers to "process medicaid applications". Don't you either qualify for medicaid or not and if you need help figuring out how to do it you go to your local Jewish council so what do these companies do and what do they want these workers to do?

I can't speak for all types of Medicaid, but I worked for a while doing Medicaid applications for senior citizens who needed a home health aide or nursing home care. Trust me, most people need someone good to take care of this for them. There are a lot of factors involved, and it's not so clear-cut. Sometimes you can be ineligible now, but if you follow certain procedures, you can become eligible. It can get very complicated.

Where did you see this advertised? I am looking for this kind of position.
It’s usually an agency who is qualified to process applications that would look for employees.
