I live in New York, and recently completed my Bcba coursework. I may consider moving to Lakewood at some point. Can anyone tell me if there are jobs available for Bcbas? What are the rates? Much appreciated.

There are plenty of agencies in Lakewood advertising that they're looking for BCBA's. That being said, you may not get as many hours as you want to work, especially at first. And with the changes in insurance that begin tomorrow, it's also going to be a tougher field in general to make a great living, whether you move or not. Hatzlacha, hope your practical hours and your test go easily and quickly for you!

Thanks for the reply! Would you know what the current rates are? Also, what changes are going into effect tomorrow? I haven’t heard about that.

I know 2 people who had been working for agencies with full hours and high pay.
Their hours and pay were cut drastically the beginning this year and looks like it is getting worse.
One is leaving the field at the end of the school year and the other is sending out resumes with no luck so far.
