The one we have is tropical coconut twist actually - but that's my preference for coconut smell.

I should warn you it doesn't lather as much as 'standard' shampoo. That doesn't mean it doesn't clean as well - its just something to get used to.

(it also has sulfates - not sure what you are trying to avoid).. can you read the label before you order?

I think I'll try coconut as well. I like the coconut smell.
is this the type of shampoo though that you can smell from afar?
thanks for sharing this. looks like a good product and price is fantastic as well!

The scent is mild. You may find you use more than you do with other products- which makes the value not as good as you might think.

I hope you like it. It has mostly good reviews on Amazon - so you're not just taking my word for it Smile

We use it also as a body wash.

Johnson's baby products are now natural and they work just as well now. (And boy do we miss the delicious scent of their no more tangles spray - we can't stomach the new natural scent).

The suave detangling spray is great for little kids and smells really good!

We bought that one to try too! Doesn't work as well as the Johnson's. Sad It kind of flattens out the hair so it's limp.

Sure. We use it for that age. They have a few types. And they're paraben free and tear free.

Is Johnson’s safe to use? Weren’t they involved in some lawsuits?

The lawsuit is specifically over their baby powder (talcum powder). Talcum is often found naturally with asbestos, so when they mine for it, they're required to spot-check for asbestos. J&J allegedly falsified their tests, potentially allowing asbestos to be sold in their baby powder.

We use this one, which also supposedly decreases the risk of lice:

I love Shea Moisture products. They are very concentrated, so it takes ages to go through a bottle, even with 3 kids using it.
My daughter used to have thin, knotty hair and now she has beautiful, healthy hair. Their products smell amazing but strong. Might bother you if you prefer a light scent.
