Very very important question here!
I'm making a two layered chocolate cake for an engagment party and can't decide what to put between the layers.
I was thinking raspberry jam and whipped cream between the layers and then raspberry jam and chocolate glaze on top. Does that sound good or should I do chocolate also between the layers?
Or something else?

I like the jam/cream idea. Esp if this is a dairy cake.

Chocolate ganache?
creamier consistency for between layers and thinner for covering cake
I like your ideas, much lighter, this is just another option

Your idea sounds perfect. I think it would be chocolate overkill (yes, I know that some feel that there is no such thing ) if you put ganache between the layers.

Whipped cream it is. alAnd I'll do ganache for the top instead of a glaze. I think it tastes better.
Thanks guys 😃
