They're not into shtick like other camps. The more outrageous the better is not their motto. They do trips but that's not what makes the camp fun. Some camps - the more trips, the more fun. For them, they have fun with each other. As others said, it's more wholesome and productive fun as opposed to silly and wasteful fun. They're not the type that will throw all the kids' slippers in the pool and then wake them up at 5 a.m. and have the girls fish for their slippers. They're not the type that the louder you cheer and the hoarser you get, the more fun it is. Girls who are quieter and not necessarily the typical outgoing "camp-type" might enjoy CPE because the focus is on a&c, skills, talents.
My sister was there a few years as a staff member and really enjoyed her experience there. She's made some very close friends. If you have any specific questions, I can ask her.
