My 16 year old son, who has adhd, keeps stealing money from us. It’s come to the point when I don’t know what to do. He also has issues where he cannot he bored so he goes to great lengths just to do something like go with friends or whatever. He smokes, drinks and lies.
Who can I go to for help? We live in Jerusalem.

Ask your GP for a referral to a child psychologist in your kupah. Is your son on any medications for ADD? Has he had any behavioral therapy? How is he doing in school?
All of this needs to be discussed with a specialist.

We already tried the therapy route via the kuppa and it didn’t work. Ds wasn’t cooperative. Maybe he needs a psychiatrist?

I know of a top notch psychiatrist who also provides counseling. He is very expensive, but worth it if you can find a way to pay. Please pm me for info

If therapy and meds haven't helped, you might need an excellent inpatient program. There must be askanim in Israel who give guidance for that

I just wanted to give you a hug.
I also have a teen who really needs help with something and refuses to go.
It is very painful to watch it.
