So long as it's warm.

Anyone else?

What else do you like that is "socially inappropriate?"

My kids used to fight over the chicken from the soup. If I made soup with bones, they'd give me these disappointed little faces. I eventually ended up making a couple of pieces each week for me and DH and just dumping the rest into the soup!

I didn't know it was socially inappropriate. Usually guests also like chicken in soup. It's comfort food to us. Maybe the question should what other comfort foods do you like.

I absolutely LOVE boiled chicken! Thanks for starting this thread.

When I have to cook something quickly for myself, I usually make boiled chicken legs.

My whole family loves boiled chicken also. The only thing thats not socially appropriate is throwing away perfectly good food or telling people that its inedible.

My family won't eat chicken soup without the chicken in it. I cup up the chicken after it cooked and throw it back in the soup. This way there's plenty of chicken in each bowl. And I know that my kids ate something substantial by the meal even if they refuse the main course.
I also make my soup heavy on vegies and serve it like that.
Clear broth is not even chicken soup for us.

Ok. This is really weird. I mix matzo meal, milk and sugar. I stir till it has like an oatmeal consistency. I think it’s really good.

We used to eat this the morning after pesach when we don't have chometz yet. (And we didn't brok on pesach itself) This was the after pesach food.
