We are IYH moving to Toms River. My children have interviews tomorrow to Bnos Esther Malka and Orchos Chaim.
What can I expect at these interviews? I’ve never done mid-elementary interviews. Only interviews we’ve had was when my children were like three years old.
Any info would be helpful in calming my nerves and helping me feel somewhat prepared. TIA

Anyone?
Even if you don’t have personal experience with this school/Yeshiva, have you relocated with elementary school children and taken them for interviews? What can we expect? Will they be tested, etc?

I switched my kids (not Lakewood) going into Pre1a and first. The younger one was tested on alef beis.
The first grader was taken to another room with a rebbe and was tested on his kriah.
They spoke to my kids about Yomim tovim and other Jewish things.
My kids though it was fun and got a prize at the end.

Our interview at BOC was very pleasant. They treated us with lots if respect. Not intimidating.
