Borgota is a really nice hotel. It’s off season so it’s cheaper also the hotel rooms are cheaper always cause they hope you gamble a lot.

We stayed in the Borgata, stunning hotel.
AC in general seemed to be slummy, boardwalk was 90's style and felt sleazyl.

I used to take a massage tog in room with dH
But it was very distracting.
Now we each take one in a separate room, much more relaxing.

Was just there this week. There’s absolutely no kosher restaurants, there used to be and will come up on google that it’s open but both closed. Chabad can make you a small fast food meal, schnitzel, burgers and fries. You can pm me for #. Toms river is 45 mins away but easiest is to bring along breakfast n lunch and pick up a meal at night form chabad. They don’t charge I just left 50 bucks as a donation and rabbi was super friendly and happy. Cleanest and most updated hotel is ocean resort with a great spa and great casino. Have fun!

how does the Ocean Resort compare to the Borgata?

Atlantic City is very seedy.. with very limited and unbelievably expensive kosher food. I could not wait to get out of there. There is so much tumah in the air that it was choking me. Maybe I am just sensitive.

Bubby's has the most delicious fresh sea food. I wish they had that quality sea food in Monsey. They cook the food in the mornings and leave it under the warmers in Monsey.

If you are picky about seafood being cooked fresh and delicious, then I strongly suggest you try Bubbies. It's not expensive.

We loved bubbies but make sure they’re still open. Don’t think there was anything else.

We stayed in Absecon. It's was under 150 a night. We went swimming and to Tangiers Outlets. It's huge, spread across several streets.

Where did you (or others) park if you went to the boardwalk?

And is Bubby's open this year?

I didn't go to the boardwalk. The parking for Tangiers Outlets was 10 for a day. I'm sure there's also free parking around the Outlets if you get there early enough.

Anyone ever went to Steel Pier? Is it decent for younger kids? Are people appropriately dressed there in the summer? (Obviously with shorts and shirt sleeve but is it like ladies in bathing suits?) Also, in general is the whole city a beach city, I.e. wherever you go you'll see bathing suits it is it just on the beaches?
