The Naki Radio only plays Jewish music. Its made by someone in Lakewood.

I never heard of it before today.

Anyone has it and likes or dislikes it?

My son got one for his birthday. He really likes it! The only drawback is, it only works with wifi.

From experience, take all social media reviews with a grain of salt... Better if you hear from someone who's definitely not getting paid to say how much they like it.

Saw it advertised on Jewish Music Stream and bought it for Chanukah.

We love, love, love it! Kids listen day and night.

Considering buying more for the bedrooms. Maybe if it gets cheaper.

Did need to make some ground rules, otherwise they'd be fighting to keep switching to different channels all day.

Wish there was a way to get it in my car!

And no, nobody paid me for this review.

What exactly do you get on it, other than Jewish music?

I bought it because of the social media hype.

Honestly = it's nothing special. I think it's a bit expensive. THe best thing is that your kids don't hog your phone/tablet, and they won't see any ads/inappropriate sites.

I don't love it but I wouldn't return it.

I think I opened a thread asking about it.
Anyway, I decided to get it and I love it. Keeps my kids busy. I got it at the introductory $99 price and free shipping.
I like that they can scroll the channels and choose what they want to listen to. I don't need to monitor for appropriateness. Everything is Jewish.
They do need to learn to take turns choosing channels because of course everyone wants to listen to something else.
The most popular listened to channel is Yitzy Erps' stories.
I don't regret buying it. (This isn't a sponsored review.)

Pricewise- I suppose you can get a cheap smartphone, lock everything but these streaming apps and connect to a speaker. But I don't know if it would end up costing less than this device.

We have it and love it. Use it all day. Lots of good music on there. A lot of new songs are played. My kids dance around the kitchen all day. Theres also kids stations with something on all the time. My son found one station thats all classic old songs...the really good popular ones.

What type of wifi receptor does it have? The Wifi signal is weak in back of my house- the ipad won't work, only the laptop.

We don't have Wi-Fi, but use my phone, that has data on it, as a hotspot for the nuki radio.
