My steam is on and all the kids are asleep in 2 pairs of PJ's!
I didnt take off my tights yet (those usually come off the second I walk in the house!)

Mine is set on 74 now cuz one kid's bedroom only has a single duct but had two outer walls....

It's so cold, that....
But my basement extra room /oversized launge / office / laundry room (that used to be the garage) has no heating. Just insulation. And I needed to wear my coat to do the laundry today!!!

I worked out on my elliptical which is in my garage. I was wearing a hat, a puffer vest over a sweater over a t shirt, a skirt over long yoga pants , and gloves....yeh, I was sweating once I got into it.

Try to put a heater by the pipes to defrost it or ask a plumber handyman how to do deal with this. The pipes could burst if they are frozen and that would be a costly repair.

Thanks!! There is a portable heater by the pipes all day! It did burst once already. Was a major mess. The handyman “insulated” it well before closing it up.

OMG I really feel for you :-(
For me it was just cancelling all the errands that I was planning to do on what was the only day for a very long time (possibly ever?) that I didn't have work while my kids did have school. Sigh. And we ran out of fresh fruits and vegetables but BH have a decent stash of frozen and canned. Will have to do groceries tomorrow, NBD, the issue is the farther errands I ditched.

I have this issue with one of my sinks. When I know the weather is really freezing I let my water drip all night so it souldn't freeze.

I actually zipped up my coat when I went outside-1st time since I bought it. Iwasn't even sure the zipper worked-it does Smile
