Alright ladies I have a challenge for you. I’m staying in an apt with a non kosher oven. It’s spotless, hasn’t been used in awhile and I want to use it to bake challah.
Putting aside the question, can I (yes I know aylor), has any one baked challah in a covered pan?

Burn out the oven for 1 hour and then bake it uncovered.

I think you can do a self-clean cycle or burn it out on high heat to kasher it.

I make crusty bread in a covered pot and its delicious but I am not sure that challah will come out the same.
