I'm traveling to Israel via Air Ukraine. Anyone to share their travel story? The food, the flight, the service, the stopover, the whole experience.

My husband flew Ukraine Air about a year and a half ago. Awful experience to be honest. His luggage was lost, as well as the luggage from his 3 friends he flew with- and this was all each of their hand luggage that were each small and they insisted they check it in. (They wanted to travel light.) Extremely unhelpful with any attemp to retrieve the lost luggage.
Just our experience.

My husband also flew that from Israel to Ukraine. He's flown a few different European airlines and he said it was the first time he saw the flight attendants not speak a word of English. Also no Hebrew so that was interesting. He didn't check any luggage so that wasn't a problem. The flight was a bit delayed which threw off his whole schedule...

Ukraine is one of the poorest countries in EU so don’t expect the same service you would get when flying with British airways or Lufthansa;)

You get for what you pay for, but at least you arrive

I think the flight from JFK to Kiev you will get a normal meal, pls double confirm beofre

I fly with them a lot. Not great, but you get to where you need to be. Never had any issues with lost luggage or anything.

Most people bring their own food.

Terrible airline 8 hour delays without offering kosher meals never again Aeroflot on the other hand great normal airline

I'm a bit confused. On the internet reviews I read really bad things about them. However, when DH checked it out on ivelt, no one seemed to complain.

Whom do I believe?

Flown with them a few times, although it was called Ukrainian Air, is that different?
Flight from NY to Kiev was great, no screens and a bit squashed for international but great service etc.
Flight Dnieper to tel Aviv was amazing, gorgeous new planes, great staff.
I would totally do it again.
Both times were way better then flying economy on domestic USA flights.
