I do kitchen and home design — space planning, 3D CAD modeling, and also sell cabinets. I do make house calls to meet clients in their kitchens/basements/other space, and when cabinets are delivered to check on the installation, but most of my work is done on my Mac in my breakfast room. I also get some long distance clients (including a few who found me on imamother, thank you!) and those jobs are entirely from home.

Maybe you're in a different state. Maybe your home satisfies all the specific qualifications to be a legal daycare center. For many people that wouldn't work.

I didn't know that food is paid for by the government. Which program is that?

She wasn't attempting to sell the concept... It work for her.

I've always been fascinated by ergonomics and how people use space. I used to do graphic design (and still co-produce and lay out The Balabusta's Daily Organizer), but kitchen and home design has been my passion for several decades. 3D design is much more interesting than 2D! I was already designing spaces for friends (for free) when my DH suggested I do it professionally. That was about 13 years ago.

I love my work!

Some people are miserable because the sheitel macher sold give them a poor quality product and then the customer is out $1500, $2000, etc, whatever they paid. Don't you think that the customer's mood is also ruined for a week or 2?
