Hashem created in me a strong "need" to make people (including my kids, including myself) be "better", by helping them develop their utmost potential.
Ex: If they know how to dance, help them be able to dance the nicest they possibly can reach. Help them look the best they can look. Help the handicapped develop to the highest function possible. Gently help people reach the stars..

There are two answers, basically:
To do the ratzon Hashem.
Then, how do we determine what the ratzon Hashem is? On the broader level and on the specific level.

Dont kid yourself! Were ALL the blind leading the blind on this issue. Short of having a conversation with the One Above, do we really know for sure that the One Above despises those who use Electric on Shabbos more than those who are fake and dress the dress and walk the walk but speak Lashon Hara and put down others, the One Above's creations?
If anyone can convince me that they have the answer, let them do it.

To fix up whatever my Neshama did in a previous gilgul. I bet I was a rich lady with a respected Talmid Chochom husband and house full of outstanding children who survived through adulthood and I was arrogant as can be. Because now everything is the opposite ...it's pay back time.

Empath me: to help others and make the world a better place
Old soul me: to sort of wrap up some past lives and really experience life and see the world without rushing through it.

I would imagine most frum people would answer similarly..,.to fulfill the task Hashem put us here for, to serve Him, improve our middos, grow as close to Him as possible, and earn Olam Haba through our actions.
