What is your 8 month old’s nap and sleep schedule? My baby gets tired every 2-3 hours and goes to sleep at 8:30 for the night. I’m wondering if it’s normal to need naps so often and how I can get him to go to sleep earlier.

My 8 month old babies take 1 nap a day between 12 & 3, and go to sleep 7:30 for the night.

About 8/8:30. When my babies would take 2 naps, or a late nap they would go to sleep later at night & be more tired by day. So I stopped with 2 naps & made earlier bedtime.

I've been wondering about this too because I keep reading here and in other places that babies should go to sleep at 7. My baby is almost 8 months and on a similar schedule to you, Lemon--he goes to sleep at 8-8:15. I didn't want to move up bedtime because we want him to sleep till at least 8 and he gets up a little before that often anyway. I've read that they often drop the 3rd nap around 9-10 months. This is my first, so I'm following!
