I just put ungers gefilte fish into the boiling water. Now how long do most ppl let it stay there for? I don't remember if I do it for 2 or 4 hours on simmer.
HELP!!!!

Most packages say to simmer 1.5 hours.

OK thanks. I don't have the package and I haven't boiled the fish in a long time (My husband liked it when I baked it)

1.5-2 hrs. I also like to lightly pierce the fish so whatever spice is in the water also goes a bit into the fish.
