Hello, can somebody share if they went to the play and what it was like? which familiar faces were on stage? Please give details, should I buy the DVD when its out?

Someone said it was pretty much like the original one. It had 2 love scenes in it... I wasn’t there though so can’t say much.

Yes it was beautiful!! It was My first time going. I never saw the original one. They performed very professionally and I really enjoyed. The singing , dancing, costumes etc... loved it all!

It was my first time seeing their plays. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Voices, acting, costumes, decorations, live music, professional ballerinas in the ballet scene. AMAZINGLY done!
Very close to the Broadway one, minus inappropriate things.

Yes. She did an amazing job and same with all other actors and dancers.
Play was beautiful. Just loved each part of the song, dance and act

Just watched this last night. I can't imagine how much work must've gone into this. So beyond professional! Wow! So much fun to see old faces and some new ones, wish can meet them in real life! Those voices are something out of this world. I'm a secret admirer for anyone who can sing like that, I always wished I had nice voice.
However, I'm disappointed at the content and the romance part of it. Also, the women wearing tightly fitted pants. I would expect more from a Rachel's Place production. Is it considered Bais Yaakov standards?

The reviews on "Mostly Music" reflect basically everything u just wrote, and that's why I'm not buying the film. I think they went a little too far. And it's a shame because they are so amazing. The truth is, most of their plays are often extremely non jewish, but this one is beyond.

As a behind the scenes and curious type of person, I can't stop wondering at the logistics of how much it takes to pull this off!
When in the world do they practice? How long does it take? How do such young girls manage their school work and such a heavy duty production at the same time? I have girls this age and can't imagine such a thing!
How do mothers of families manage this? Who watches their kids???
All I can say is WOW!

I've been behind the scenes, it's certainly not simple!! Practice is evenings, Sundays, and yes, our lives are upside down for the last few weeks close to the play! It's extremely intense yet so so amazing. Each family has its own unique arrangements and the cast is extremely devoted so it works!
