Going with my family to Israel.
Heard about this tour of the Shuk.
Did anyone do this with their family?
What was it like?

I did it during the summer with grandmothers, grandchildren and other friends with grandmothers and grandchildren. It was a blast, such fun.
We did it with Tova Heller (used to be rogoff). If you have facebook, check out Tova in Israel. She was great.

I second Tova in Israel. Many of my friends have taken her shuk tour. They all loved her.

From what I heard the shuk got very big over the past few years with a lot of different hechsherim. The tour guide takes you to different places where you watch them make the pita, then eat it fresh, watch them make the chumus, have that fresh... supposed to be a lot of fun.
