It usually is very nice for the beach over pesach, but you never know. Last year or two years ago we had rain well after pesach. It never hurts to bring a bathing suit along and hope for nice weather.

It should be sunny and beautiful. But hey, if it's too hot on the Mediterranean - go up to the Kineret. If it's too cold, you can head down to the Dead Sea, or Eilat. There's every kind of weather in Eretz Yisrael!

With Pesach late this year due to the extra Adar, the odds are in your favor, but nothing's guaranteed.

This. The 'Bathing Season" (when the beaches are officially open and lifeguard stations are manned) starts before Pesach this year, on April 12th.
This doesn't mean though that the weather can't be iffy. No way of knowing at this point.
If you are planning on going on Chol Hamoed best to avoid the Kinneret which will be a zoo.
If you are looking for a spot along the Meditteranean I recommend Ashdod or Ashkelon which are far less crowded than the beaches in TA and nicer IMO.
There is always the Dead Sea too, as Rappel pointed out and by that time of year it usually is hot there.
Eilat is too, but you're not going to go down to Eilat for the beach just for the day unless you already have accomodations there which have to be booked well in advance for Pesach.
