I have some beautiful Michal Negrin earrings that I can't wear because my ears are allergic to metals, other than gold. I'd like to get the part that goes in the ear dipped in gold, in hopes that I won't be allergic to them anymore.
Does anyone know where I can get this done?
TIA

I would guess any jeweler could do it for you - if it's possible. Do you know if the earings are sterling or some other metal? I don't think all metals can be dipped in gold with a good result.... the reason I say this is because I had a platinum engagement ring that neede some adjustments and my MIL took it to her jeweler. A short while later my ring started turning black in some spots. When I took it to my own jeweler to ask what was going on he said it looked like used white gold instead of platinum and that's what was causing it to turn. But anyhow, if your earings are sterling, then I am 99% sure you wont have a problem having them dipped.

Any jeweler can dip jewelery into gold... just go to one you trust...
